Xi Ping’s AD

One of my most easy-going and chin-chai bride, Xi Ping. She’s also a fellow Yishun resident! Yayy to not having to wake up super early for traveling on her AD!

She first contacted me back in July 2018 and confirmed her engagement with me in Aug 2018. I’m really grateful for these brides because I only just started marketing and advertising about my bridal makeup and hair services in 2018.

I have been doing makeup and hair circa 2010 but I didn’t dare to take on bridal bookings because I had other commitments like university and tutoring. After I sold my tuition centre in 2017, I decided that I want to pursue makeup full-time and that was when I started all the marketing full force.

I also did the makeup and hair for her mom in the morning before the groom arrived.

More photos of my bride and her bridal entourage as they went out for a short shoot at seletar reservoir.

I met her at the hotel for her touchup and change of hairstyle.

While I was at the hotel, I also did the makeup and hair for her MIL. Doesn’t she look stunning?

Hui Shan’s AD

I first talked to Hui Shan last September when she was looking for a bridal makeup artist for her actual day in June this year. She also booked my services for her own mom. It was really nice corresponding with her through emails.

We wanted to visit similar countries such as Tanzania which I actually did in July 2019. It was a once-in-a-lifetime trip which I had no regrets spending the extra moolah on. Okay, my husband spent most of the money, I helped him spend the money. Haha.

Back to the wedding, she was my last bride in June this year before I flew to USA to find my husband and I was glad it was her because of how easy going she is as a person.

We started the makeup in her room in front of her small vanity area that’s attached to her wardrobe. I usually don’t need a lot of space and mirror but if you can afford to give me a bigger table and a mirror, it will make my life a lot easier.

Photos above were taken by me using my handphone. lol.
She has shoulder length hair and that is the style she likes to we went for hairstyles that can fit that length too.

Photos taken by her photographer and very kindly shared with me by her too.

For her style change, I put her shoulder length hair up into a tousled braided updo.

Elise’s AD

It was a beautiful morning when I arrived at Elise’s place. I was welcomed by a huge landscape painting hung in the living hall and was ushered to level 2 passing by this not-so-tiny garden with water feature in the middle of the house.

I fell in love with her place at first sight. One of her bridesmaids shared her room with her which I thought was really sweet to sleep with your bestie the night before your wedding. You can share your thoughts and how nervous you are with her. It’s always good to have someone to share these feelings with.

I set up my makeup box and hair tools upon reaching the room while she got ready to begin her makeup. The first person the brides meet is usually her makeup artist and I’m honoured to be Elise’s.

The 2nd vendor you will meet in the morning will be your photographer. Benedict from eggsbenedictchan came shortly after I was done with her makeup.

As Elise had a tight morning schedule and she wanted to spend more time with her family, I did an updo that she can easily change to a half updo. This is a really special situation that I offered to do something like this for her. Otherwise, it will be recommended for brides to engage a mua to do a proper style change before the lunch banquet begins because if you screw up while removing the pins, you might have to march in with just curly hair.

Really glad to be a part of Elise’s big day and also have one of my partners doll up her mom, MIL and sisters.

Shiyi’s AD

To be very honest, Shiyi’s eyes were one of the most challenging ones I’ve encountered so I actually asked her to come for another trial after the first round because I wasn’t satisfied with it. She was so nice to take time out for a 2nd trial and we nailed it. She looked so pretty on her AD and I was also extremely with the results because I can see my improvement.

Above are the photos taken by me. Can you tell that she’s actually monolid? I’m so happy I made her monolids into double but she still looked very much like herself and prettier, of course.

Here are some prep shots in the morning taken by Brandon from Lens of Mira. Her gown is from Digio.

More shots from the morning and also some with her pretty sisters 🙂

Her floral bouquet is from Whimsical Blooms and they are absolutely lovely. In fact, after her wedding, the lady boss if Whimsical Blooms contacted me to do her ROM Hair and Makeup 🙂 I’m really grateful for these opportunities.

Vanessa’s PWS

Vanessa engaged me for her hair and makeup for her PWS and she absolutely loved the style I created for her.

She had a beautiful floral crown ordered from Liz Florals and these photos were taken by Perry.
Vanessa had already booked her bridal AD mua by the time she enquired with me so I didn’t get to do her AD hair and makeup. However, she was very pleased with the style that she engaged by help on her AD for her mom 🙂
Thank you so much for trusting in my work! Congrats on your marriage again!
